Who We Are

We support the mission of the FAA to provide the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world by empowering our employees through regular meetings, training and activities. We also share the Asian and Pacific American experience and culture with fellow FAA employees.

Background

In 1988, the FAA Asian Pacific American Committee (APAC) was formally recognized. The group’s purpose was to share the Asian and Pacific American experience and culture with fellow FAA employees. In April 1991, APAC was renamed Coalition of FAA Asian Pacific Americans (CFAPA). Then in November 1994,

Our Goals

  1. Promote continued excellence in job performance and professionalism of FAA AAPI employees through pride, dedication, training and involvement.
  2. Establish rapport with key leaders and with organizations at different levels of the FAA to improve communication, understanding and commitment to advance a diverse and productive work environment.
  3. Facilitate a positive mentoring network focused on meeting the development and mobility needs of all FAA employees.
